The following 25 counties require emissions testing in addition to safety inspections:
Philadelphia Metro Area
Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia
Pittsburgh Metro Area
Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, Westmoreland
Other Required Counties
Berks, Carbon, Centre, Cumberland, Dauphin, Erie, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Mercer, Northampton, York
If your county is not listed, you only need a safety inspection.
